Guidebook on Informal Communication Tools for Community Development

Five NGOs share their experience in developing and applying communication tools, which foster citizen participation and cooperation and promote change.

This guidebook to informal communication tools for communities and neighbourhoods is a result of the collaboration of InterContext learning partnership, which brought together practitioners working in the fields of neighbourhood management and civic and cultural education. Five NGOs from Portugal, Latvia, Germany, Lithuania and France share their experience in developing and applying communication tools, which foster citizen participation and cooperation and promote change. The short guidebook could inspire social workers, neighbourhood managers, community organisers, activists and professionals in civic and (inter-)cultural education to search for creative solutions in their community and neighbourhood development work.

One of the guidebook's co-authors is Jekaterina Lavrinec representing NGO "Laimikis.lt". She was involved in organizing the workshop for the Key Dialogue Workers in Snipiskes during the CAUCULT Study Visit in Lithuania.
