'TOLERANT CHRISTMAS' Community Art Event

On Saturday, 28 December 2013, in Yerevan CAUCULT- Cultural initiatives network and Polish Embassy to the Republic of Armenia invite to 'Tolerant Christmas' open air concert which will offer to enjoy traditional Catholic Christmas songs in several languages presented by 'Gwiazdeczka' and 'Paros' choirs. The organizers of the concert invite everyone to participate in the event and sing with the choirs.
The aim of 'Tolerant Christmas' is to present Yerevan inhabitants the nice tradition of Christmas celebration in Catholic countries, thus, letting them know about different groups of people from Catholic countries living in Armenia. Besides, this open concert will promote cultural participation of citizens and raise their interest towards other cultures and promote a sense of tolerance.
It's worthwhile to mention that this is not a concert in its traditional sense but a community art event which encourages participation of everyone, each passerby to join the event not as a spectator, but as a participant. So, everyone is invited to join the choir and sing with them and to support participation of citizens the organizers will publish the concert programme and provide participants with the lyrics on the place.
During the concert the guests will have chance to enjoy the Christmas souvenirs/gifts market and taste special Christmas warming drinks and sweets.
